Hey Guys! Its week 4 of the Fall One Room Challenge and It’s time to start implementing! I spent the first half of this planning and I’m now ready to execute.
Check out Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3

I started off with hanging the mirror and floating shelves above the dresser. I made a last minute decision to switch the mirror to the left of the dresser instead if the right like in my 3D design. I’m so glad I did because this arrangement is more cohesive and feels balanced to me.
Next up was styling the shelves. I put up a few picture frame combinations to decide which color and size would work for the space while leaving room for the painted vases. I really love the combination of muted pink and a more vibrant pink for the vases and flower arrangements. I haven’t decided what to put in the frames yet. I want something that would have an impact from afar since the frames are so small.
Painting the wallpaper was quite the drama. I initially planned a pink color for the frames (see the options below), however when I was about to paint, I decided to do a little swatch test and realized the shade of pink I got didn’t match the pinks in the wallpaper. This led to a frantic search for an alternative and I ended up with a neutral grey that matched the walls.
I want the frames to pop without really competing with the wallpaper and I think it’ll work, I hope. I did a flat lay to see what the wallpaper looks like with the painted frames and I think it might work. I’m very nervous about this and I can’t wait to see it up on the wall. Fingers crossed I don’t hate it. Wish me luck!
Next week, I’ll be installing the wallpaper and frames, styling the room and getting ready for the reveal. I’m so excited! My next post will be going into details on how I installed the framed wallpaper. Thanks a lot for following me on this journey
Check out the one room challenge page to see what the other participants are up to. There are so many exciting projects being worked on and I can’t wait to see everyone’s reveal!
Thank you for spending this time with my musings. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I’ll see you in my next post!
